An innovative organisation currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Database/Linux Administrator to join their team. You will be the go to person and responsible for the data warehouse that the organisation uses for their analytics product.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Setup and maintain and database including backup
- ETL Processes
- Architect database schema
- Develop SQL queries
- Develop functions
- Work closely with software developers
To be successful in the role you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role in local market
- Extensive experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Development experience using SQL
- Bash scripting experience
- Experience working with large data sets (1tb+)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
