Job Description

A vacancy currently exists for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to serve the HR needs of multiple business units, in a stand alone role. This will be a true generalist appointment, providing first level advisory and support service to the organisation on a broad range of HR management, workplace relations and OSH matters. You will be involved in recruitment, service delivery, change management, project delivery, counselling and coaching, training and development and employee relations.

Your role will also include the facilitation of OSH systems and programs to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all our people. Fundamental to achieving this goal will be the management and co-ordination of worker's compensation and injury management, collation and dissemination of information to allow pro-active action, effective documentation of incidents, procedures, maintaining records and data, and ensuring quality investigations and reviews into workplace accidents/injuries.

The Successful Applicant

Proven experience in a similar HR generalist role, along with a working knowledge of contemporary OSH practices, and a relevant tertiary qualification is essential to be successful in this role. You will have a strong customer focus and a penchant for communicating and influencing at all levels. Integrity, commitment and enthusiasm are required traits, along with a pragmatic, hands-on approach. With a mixture of tenacity and resilience, you will draw upon time and organisational management skills to meet targets and deadlines.
