Business Development Manager

A high profile well recognised company is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager.

You will have considerable sales experience, be well organized, a strong negotiator and be aware of and responsive to economic trends.

The successful applicant will have the ability to expand the company's product reach and profit revenues by identifying new markets and attracting new clients.

You will be able to research new business opportunities, identify likely sales points, develop strategies plans and sales strategies and undertake presentations to and negotiations with prospective customers.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Prepare a detailed business plan so you will not lose sight of your goals and objectives.
  • Develop a situation analysis of the company including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business.
  • Adopt a team approach; work with others in pursuing common goals.
  • Network with other industry businesspeople.
  • Seek out new business opportunities.
  • Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry.

This role is pivotal to the future success of the business ensure and to ensure market share growth via both existing and potential new customers.

You will be familiar with Microsoft software packages, be an excellent communicator at all levels and be well presented.
